Adsorption and ion exchange are examples of fixed-bed sorption processes that show transient behavior. This means differential equations needed to design them. As a result, numerical methods commonly utilized solve these equations. The solution frequently used in analytical is called the Thomas solution. gave complete adds nonlinear equilibrium relationship depends on second-order reaction kinetics. A computational approach was devised model. model's validity established by conducting three distinct sets experiments. first entails adsorption acetic acid from air through utilization activated carbon. Following this, zeolite-5A adsorbs trichloroethylene (TCE) air. Finally, carbon employed for purpose adsorbing o-cresol aqueous solutions. study done estimate phase equilibria interphase mass transfer rates.
